About the programme

Ideas that solve real problems

Some of the best ideas come from young people who are close to the problem. Our hackathons and innovation challenges give them the time, structure and mentoring to turn ideas into working solutions.

Each challenge starts from a clear problem statement - often from education, health, environment, accessibility or local services. Teams research the problem, build a prototype (software, hardware or a service design) and present it to a panel.

Every challenge publishes its rules, eligibility, team size, timeline and judging criteria on its own page before registration opens. Prizes, certificates or support, if any, are announced only when they are confirmed.

  • Encourage problem-solving for real community needs
  • Build teamwork, creativity and practical technical skills
  • Give young innovators mentoring and a platform to present ideas
  • Promote ethical and inclusive innovation
