Overview
Young people are the change-makers of tomorrow
Many young people from underserved families have talent and energy, but no one to guide them on studies, careers or the skills that employers look for.
Our Youth Empowerment programme gives young people guidance, exposure and a chance to lead. Through career guidance, mentoring by volunteers, life-skills and digital-skills workshops and community service projects, young people build the confidence to plan their future and contribute to their community.

Mentoring
Young people are paired with volunteer mentors who share their experience and help them set and reach goals.

Workshops on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management and self-confidence.

Basic computer and internet skills, online safety and responsible use of social media.

Frequently asked questions
Which age group is the programme for?
Our youth activities are mainly for young people of school and college age and those starting their careers. Some sessions are designed for specific age groups – contact us to find one that suits you.
Is there a fee to take part?
No. Our youth workshops and mentoring are free for participants.
Can I volunteer as a mentor?
Yes. Apply as a volunteer and mention mentoring in your interests. All volunteers who work with children and young people follow our Child Protection Policy.
Do you offer internships?
Students and young professionals can apply for internships with the foundation through our Internships page.
